Privacy Policy for Jambo

Effective Date: June 24, 2026

Your privacy is important to us. Jambo ("we", "our", or "us") provides a spatial multiplayer integration for Discord servers. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in connection with our Discord Bot and Web Application.

1. Information We Collect

To operate Jambo, we only collect the minimum amount of data required to link your Discord voice channel presence with the game:

• Discord Account Data: User ID, Username, and Avatar (obtained via Discord OAuth or Gateway) to identify you in the multiplayer space.
• Discord Server/Guild Data: Voice channel IDs and status changes to detect when you join the portal channels.
• Transaction Data: If you purchase in-game currency through Polar, we receive purchase confirmations and order IDs to credit your in-game balance. We do not store or process credit cards or payment details (these are handled directly by Polar).

2. How We Use Information

We use the collected information solely to:

• Provide the spatial room experience and multiplayer sync.
• Onboard servers and map Discord voice channels to virtual spaces.
• Link your account inventory and coin balances to your Discord identity.

3. Data Sharing & Selling

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information under any circumstances. All data is kept secure and used only for game functionality.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your profile data as long as you participate in Jambo rooms. If you wish to delete your data from our database, please contact the developer or server admin to request removal, and we will wipe your profile records from SpacetimeDB.

5. Updates to this Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. We recommend reviewing this page periodically for changes.
